TA101 with Jan Grant

Dear friends, The Transactional Analysis Association, Singapore is proud to offer yet another ‘learning and sharing’ activity – a 2-day Introduction to Transactional Analysis course entitled:  

TRANSACTIONAL ANALYSIS 101 – WHAT MAKES PEOPLE TICK?

Date (Time): Weekend: 4-5 August 2012 (9am to 4.30pm)

Venue: Executive Counselling& Training Academy Pte Ltd (ECTA),451 Joo Chiat Road, #02-07/08/09/10/11 Katong Junction, Singapore 427664  

WHAT IS IT?  The transactional analysis 101 is a two day introductory course in transactional analysis (TA) and will introduce participants to all the key concepts.

 WHO WILL IT BENEFIT?  The TA 101 will benefit teachers, counsellors, managers, coaches, team leaders, parents and anyone who wants to understand self and to communicate more effectively with others.

CONTENT COVERED:

·        What is transactional analysis?

·        Philosophical underpinnings

·        Who was Eric Berne?

·        Structural analysis – understanding what makes us tick

·        Transactional analysis – understanding how we relate to others

·        From games and rackets to authenticity

·        From scripts to autonomy

ABOUT THE COURSE LEADER …

JAN GRANT B. Ed, M. Ed. (Adult Ed), TSTA, ITAA & WPATA (Education and Counselling) is a counsellor with 20 years’ experience in the profession. She is in private practice in Sydney, where she sees couples and individuals. Jan is also a Teacher and Trainer in Transactional Analysis (TSTA). Jan has been very active in the Transactional Analysis modality and many of the people having some experience with Transactional Analysis has been as a result of working with Jan. Jan also teaches at the Australian College of Applied Psychology and has done so for some years. She also does volunteer work for the Asylum Seekers Centre in Surry Hills. She comes to us with extensive experience.
