TA Association of Singapore Membership

You can apply or renew your membership with the TA Association of Singapore as:
  • Associate Member
  • Full Member
  • Certified Transactional Analyst Member
  • Honorary Members
  • Overseas Member
  • Life Member

GENERAL INFORMATION
Admission to all classes of membership is at the sole discretion of the TAAS Executive Committee. 

Membership Categories in Article 5 of the Amended TAAS Constitution

1. Associate Member: A non-voting member who has not yet completed the “TA101” course and includes TA enthusiasts and students enrolled in a formal course of study.
Associate Member - Membership fee: S$25 per annum.

2. Full Member: A voting member who has completed the “TA101” course, and who is a resident in Singapore (Citizen, Permanent Resident, Work Permit, Dependent’s Pass).
Full Member - Membership fee: S$30 per annum.

3. Transactional Analyst Members: A voting member who has completed a competency-based course of serious study and close supervision under a certified Instructor or Supervisor. Transactional Analyst membership is open to those who have passed both written and oral exams administered by a recognised TA association or an accrediting body. This Membership is open to those who have a specialty such as Clinical, Counselling, Organizational or Educational.
Membership fee - S$40 per annum.

4. Honorary Members: This is a non-voting member who, by reason of their eminence in the TA profession or their substantial contribution to the profession of TA or its practice, may be elected to Honorary Membership by the Annual General Meeting on the recommendation of the Executive Committee. An Honorary Member shall not be liable to pay a subscription but shall enjoy all other privileges of membership, except the right to vote and hold office.

5. Overseas Members: This is a non-voting member and is open any person, not a resident in Singapore, but is interested in the goals of TAAS. Membership fee - S$25 per annum.

6. Life Members: This is a voting member and is open only to Certified Transactional Analysts nominated for their outstanding contribution to TA in Singapore. They are entitled to all the rights and benefits of a CTA member. Only two (2) applications for Life Membership will be approved each year.
