We are proudly present our next Evening Talk entitled …. 

TRANSACTIONAL ANALYSIS CONCEPTS IN GROUPS By Jan Grant, TSTA (E & C)

BROAD CONTENT OF THE TALK:In this evening talk we will cover three fascinating group concepts from Berne’s writing:

o    Imago – where do we learn our place in a group? How does our imago change when we enter a new group?

o    Three functions of leadership: responsible, effective and psychological

o    Group diagrams – how do Berne’s diagrams help us understand what is going on in a group?

ABOUT THE COURSE LEADER …

JAN GRANT B. Ed, M. Ed. (Adult Ed), TSTA, ITAA & WPATA (Education and Counselling) is a counsellor with 20 years’ experience in the profession. She is in private practice in Sydney, where she sees couples and individuals. Jan is also a Teacher and Trainer in Transactional Analysis (TSTA). Jan has been very active in the Transactional Analysis modality and many of the people having some experience with Transactional Analysis has been as a result of working with Jan. Jan also teaches at the Australian College of Applied Psychology and has done so for some years. She also does volunteer work for the Asylum Seekers Centre in Surry Hills. She comes to us with extensive experience.
