Synopsis: In this presentation Giles will be offering an introduction to the education field of TA; drawing on the work of a range of TA educators including Trudi Newton, Rosemary Napper, Jean Clarke and others from the international community. We will be invited to consider the importance of schooling, its impact of script and implications for us on our TA journeys.
Recommended for: The material will be of interest to those already involved in schooling, adult education and training, in addition to those engaged in personal and professional development, including TA training.
Facilitator: Giles Barrow (TSTA - E) is based in the UK with background in schools, community education and professional development. He has written on the theme of education and enjoys teaching and supervising in the outdoor environment.
